I like the overall design and look of the iPod Touch, but I am extremely put off by the pittance of memory in the device. 16 Gig is hardly enough for a storage nut like me. My 80gig iPod is so full that in order to add new stuff, I have to get rid of older stuff. 16 gig? Hah. No thanks, Apple. I’ll stick with the “classic” as you call it. I just bought one of the new 160gig iPods (it is 160? I always forget). I travel all over the State I live in repairing computers and installing networks and such, and I need entertainment when I drive 396 miles to do a job that’s going to take 10 minutes. I need serious space. Until Apple gets the storage up to something short or miraculous, I aint buying a Touch, no matter how cool it looks. Sorry Apple, I’m a huge fan, a stockholder and my friends call me a Apple Nerd, but you guys are going to have to do better than this. By the way…. what the hell does ‘Zune’ mean anyway? And what’s with the brown one? I mean dude, that’s a seriously ugly color for an mp3 players.
Yeah i feel you pain. There are iPods for many needs and Apple adress that well on their Marketing Campaign.I Think the iPod Touch is more to install iPhone esque apps and like a chat, games and some music/videos. Your needs are to have a lot of music, then the iPod Classic its perfect for that.
