The flickr user simonbullwinkle says that his sister in law friend bought wih him this misterious device.
… with him a mp3 that hes been fiddling around with and was letting a few people play with (he a very senior guy at&t). Im not 100% sure how he worked it, but i thought it looked interesting enough to put up on flickr…

yes it’s a fake - the interface has none of the polish you’d expect: the font in the title bar is too tall, the full-screen icon is rounded, the horizontal scroll isn’t shaded.
