by DailyMac on March 6, 2009

Domreis7337 asked:

I upgraded my third generation MacBook’s Ram from 1GB to 2GB for $69.

I provided a link to the ram because it is the best price I have found.

You put your fingers all over the connector pinns. Good luck, you might ruin your rig.

pierpointcove March 18, 2009 at 1:17 pm

yeah i’d say that’s a good deal

i want to upgrade my RAM as well, i have a 1GB, which one do you recommend me to get?

ibleedblue06 April 1, 2009 at 10:25 pm

When you touch the connector pins, the brass looking plates on the ram sticks, you will not have the best contact and you might even ruin your new ram. maybe not right away but over time.

As far as more info about computers. I will be getting my macbook upgrades tomorrow, Watch for the video.

Keep in Mind this was over a year and a half ago. That was the cheapest (but good quality) ram i could find.

Good job covering the unscrew demonstration. ppfft..

ibleedblue06 April 12, 2009 at 7:59 am

Good job touching the connector pins on the memory Domreis7337. You can’t do that man. Now if you think the memory has been seated good, it might not. because you have just rubbed the oils and dirt from your fingers on the memory contacts. Good job.

FYI: I don’t care who you are or how much money you make. WARE AN ESD Wrist strap.

iPodFixer April 15, 2009 at 6:00 am
