This took more than expected, but today the iPhone goes international. Yes you can now unlock your iPhone and use it with the carrier of your preference (in any country).

Engadget informed that a team of six people worked to get this software ready for the masses.

This is a Full-Software Unlock that is going to be commercial, to payoff all the effort invested in this little software. This software is upgrade and restore resistant, that means that even if you restore/upgrade your iPhone to a new firmware the unlock is still functional. It has been tested with the 1.0.2 firmware.

The team of iPhone SIM Free.com did this naughty thing. They are officially the first to break Apple´s SIM locks on the iPhone with software. Lets see what is the effect on iPhone sales with this little software release. Go and buy some Apple stocks :P

This is not a Hoax and Engadget has a video to prove it.
