Hola, Apple Online Store Mexico

Now Mexicans have the chance to get Apple products through the Apple Online Store shipped to their door step.

This is a great move on Apple´s part, knowing the growing online Mexican market the store came in the right time. They are giving away 5 MacBooks and 120 iPod Nanos for they loyal fans and public in general, as a Welcome and incentive to start shopping! ;)

It´s the first step that Apple gives to the expansion to latin american market, and their roots are planted for even better things, like an iTunes Music Store and the launch of the iPhone on Aztec soil.

Just expand a profitable model to all the parts of the world and thats a great idea. We are hearing too that, Apple is going to launch a retail Store in Mexico City, thats what i am talking about, of expansion.

iPod Nano Ad with a MadTV twist

Some people would like this kind of honesty from Apple, but instead MadTV made this parody and early adopters are going to be identified with it. Remember the people that sued Apple because of the iPhone price drop?

This song describes exactly those people, that couldn´t ressell their 4GB iPhones on eBay and recoup their money. Thats how the technology market really is right?

Nick Haley and the iPod Touch Ad

Nick Haley a young English guy got lucky showing his skills and uploading a great Video to Youtube. Apple contacted the young guy, but Nick Haley was a little skeptic about this approach.

The New York Times says:

“I was sitting on the bus and I got this e-mail on my phone,” The message said, “We represent Apple and we’ve seen what you have produced and we’d like a chat with you,” Mr. Haley recalled, adding: “This seemed ridiculous and far-fetched. My initial reaction was, someone wanted to steal it.”

A television commercial for the new iPod from Apple Touch, scheduled to begin running on Sunday, 10-28 is being created by the longtime Apple agency, TBWA / Chiat / Day. It is based on a commercial that an 18-year-old English student and Apple devotee named Nick Haley, who says he got his first Mac when he was 3, created on his own one day last month.

The advertisement in question combines passages of the iPod Touch Guided Tour with a catchy soundtrack -Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex (CCS) - The best thing is that Nick Haley was invited to travel to California to take part in the remake of the Ad by the advertising agency.
