New speedier iMacs available
After many rumors, finally Apple announced a speedier iMacs with the new Procesessor Intel Penryn.
The two 20” models are at 2.4GHz and 2.6HGhz, respectively. The former features 1GB memory, 250Gb HD, 8x double-layer SuperDrive and ATI Radeon HD 2400 Xt with 128MB memory, while tha later bumps tha standard memory 2GB, the drive to 320GB and the video card to a ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro with 256MB memory (priced at $1199US and 1499US).
The top-of-line-24” model have a 3.06GHz Intel core 2 Duo Processor, 2GB memory standard, a 500GB HD, and 8x double-layer SuperDrive and a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS with 512MB memory.
So, if you thinkin to buying an iMac, now is the time get a powefull and speedier iMac.

Apple Reports Record Second Quarter Results
Apple today announced financial results for its fiscal 2008 second quarter ended March 29, 2008. The net sales that obtained in this semester were of 7,510 billion, with net quarterly profit of$1.05 billion. These results compare to revenue of $5.26 billion and net quarterly profit of $770 million, or $.87 per diluted share, in the year-ago quarter. Gross margin was 32.9 percent, down from 35.1 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 44 percent of the quarter’s revenue.
Apple shipped 2,289 million of Macintosh® computers: 856 thousand of iMacs,Etc., and 1,433 million Macbooks, The company sold 10.644 million iPods during the quarter representing one percent unit growth and eight percent revenue growth over the year-ago quarter, also sold 1.703 million iPhones.
We have seen rumors about a new iPhone model with 3G Network, and we waiting for a possible update of Macbooks with aluminium desing. I can’t wait anymore what new products Apple will bring for us in the following months.
